More control. More comfort. Less edge damage.

The Switch Slash Lightning is a fast, lightweight skimboard with responsive sidecuts and a soft EVA deck. Its polyurethane edges handle impacts far better than traditional wooden boards, while the contoured twin-tip shape gives you precise control for carves, spins and technical tricks.

SWITCH SLASH / LIGHTNING

More control.
Your next move.

The Slash shape features pronounced sidecuts that respond quickly to changes in balance and foot pressure.

Compared with the rounded Flow shape, the Slash feels more precise from edge to edge. It gives you better control during quick direction changes, technical tricks and smooth carves.

Choose the Slash when you want a more responsive and active ride.

Shallow water. Skim pools. Your next flatland trick.

Slash Lightning: EVA foam, upper fiberglass, ash and poplar core, PU sidewalls, lower fiberglass and printed FlowSlick base.

Lightweight composite construction

The Slash combines a vertically laminated ash and poplar core with triaxial fiberglass reinforcement.

This wakeboard-inspired construction keeps the board lightweight while adding strength, controlled flex and pop. It feels responsive under your feet without becoming heavy or unnecessarily stiff.

Light enough for spins. Strong enough for hard sessions.

EVA foam grip
Soft cushioning and traction underfoot.

Upper & lower fiberglass
Reinforcement on both sides of the core.

Ash & poplar core
Vertically laminated wood.

PU sidewalls
Continuous protection around the core.

FlowSlick base
Smooth sliding surface with the Lightning graphic.

01 / EDGE PROTECTION

No more fragile wooden edges

Rocks, shells, pool edges and freestyle obstacles can quickly chip a traditional wooden skimboard.

The Slash Lightning is protected by polyurethane sidewalls around the entire edge. They absorb impacts and provide exceptional resistance to chipping, cracking and everyday session damage.

This makes it a strong choice for frequent riding, obstacle training and spots that are not perfectly clean.

02 / SPEED

Faster slides.
Less effort.

The smooth FlowSlick base reduces drag on wet surfaces.

The board gets up to speed more easily and keeps sliding for longer, giving you more distance for shuvits, spins, transitions and obstacle tricks.

Drop it onto a suitable wet surface and ride.

03 / CONTROL

Soft EVA grip

The deck is covered with high-density EVA foam for reliable traction and a softer feel under your feet.

It adds comfort during long sessions and helps keep your feet in position during take-offs, turns, slides and landings. The EVA surface works well both barefoot and with water shoes.

No additional traction pads are required.

BEFORE YOU RIDE

Good to know.

Which size should I choose — 87 or 101?

Choose S (87 × 41 cm) for riders below 45 kg, or M (101 × 48 cm) for riders above 45 kg. Around 45 kg or unsure? Contact us before choosing.

Does Slash Lightning have diamond grip or EVA foam?

Slash Lightning uses soft EVA foam on top for cushioning and barefoot comfort. The Slash Abstract has a firmer diamond-textured top. Both have fiberglass reinforcement above and below the wood core.

Symmetrical Twin-Tip Shape

The Slash can be ridden naturally in both directions.

Its symmetrical outline makes switch riding, rotations and transitions feel natural, while the sidecuts add sharper response and more precise control than a classic oval shape.

It is made for riders who want to progress with technical freestyle tricks and obstacle riding.

Flow or Slash?

Choose Slash for faster reactions, sharper control and a more technical feel.

Choose Flow for maximum stability, smoother handling and a more predictable ride.

Both shapes use the same durable composite construction, polyurethane edge protection and fast FlowSlick base.
