Switch SkimBoard Flow Lightning

Price range: $197,04 through $208,30 VAT where applicable

Soft grip. Longer slides. Built to take hits.

The Switch Flow Lightning is a fast, lightweight twin-tip skimboard. Its soft EVA foam deck adds grip and comfort, while polyurethane sidewalls protect the edges from chipping far better than traditional wooden boards.

SWITCH FLOW / LIGHTNING

Less thinking.
More flow.

The rounded, symmetrical Flow shape gives the board a smooth and predictable feel.

It rides naturally in both directions, making switch riding, spins and transitions easier. The stable outline is beginner-friendly while still giving experienced riders plenty of room for freestyle progression.

Shallow water. Skim pools. Your next flatland trick.

Flow Lightning: EVA foam, upper fiberglass, ash and poplar core, PU sidewalls, lower fiberglass and printed FlowSlick base.

Lightweight composite construction

The Flow EVA combines a vertically laminated ash and poplar core with triaxial fiberglass reinforcement.

This wakeboard-inspired construction keeps the board light, responsive and durable. The fiberglass adds strength, controlled flex and pop without making the board unnecessarily heavy.

Light enough for spins and tricks. Strong enough for hard sessions.

EVA foam grip
Soft cushioning and traction underfoot.

Upper & lower fiberglass
Reinforcement on both sides of the core.

Ash & poplar core
Vertically laminated wood.

PU sidewalls
Continuous protection around the core.

FlowSlick base
Smooth sliding surface with the Lightning graphic.

01 / EDGE PROTECTION

No more fragile wooden edges

Rocks, shells, pool edges and freestyle obstacles can quickly damage a traditional wooden skimboard.

The Flow EVA is protected by polyurethane sidewalls around the entire edge. They absorb impacts and make the board highly resistant to chipping, cracking and everyday session damage.

It is a strong choice for frequent training, obstacle riding and spots that are not perfectly clean.

02 / SPEED

Faster slides.
Less effort.

The smooth FlowSlick base reduces drag on wet surfaces.

The board reaches speed more easily and keeps sliding for longer, giving you more distance for spins, shuvits, transitions and obstacle tricks.

Just find a suitable wet surface, drop the board and ride.

03 / CONTROL

Soft EVA grip

The deck is covered with EVA foam for a soft, comfortable and secure feel under your feet.

It improves traction during take-offs, slides and landings while adding extra cushioning for barefoot riding. The foam also makes the board more comfortable during longer sessions.

No additional traction pads are required.

Does Flow Lightning have diamond grip or EVA foam?

Flow Lightning uses soft EVA foam on top for cushioning and barefoot comfort. The Flow Abstract has a firmer diamond-textured top. Both have fiberglass reinforcement above and below the wood core.

Flow EVA or Standard Flow?

Choose Flow EVA for softer footing, additional cushioning and maximum barefoot comfort.

Choose the standard Flow for a firmer, lower-profile deck with integrated diamond texture.

Both versions use the same stable twin-tip shape, fast base, reinforced core and polyurethane sidewalls.
