A longboard for everyday riding
If you want a board for getting around or enjoying flowing turns, this category brings together carving and cruising longboards. Decks and complete setups provide different starting points for your next board.
Drop-through mounting lowers the standing platform. Deck shape, flex, trucks and wheels all influence the feel of a setup. For moving footwork and kicktail tricks, explore dancing and freestyle longboards.
Detailed information is in the product descriptions. If you need more details, ask us in the support chat or email us via our contact page.
PRACTICAL ANSWERS
Your longboard
questions.
Deck size, flex, complete boards and custom setups — here is what to check before choosing.
Which longboard should I choose for my riding style?
Start with what you want to do most. Dancing puts the focus on footwork and space to move on the deck; freestyle adds tricks and kicktails. Cruising is about everyday riding and carving. For freeride or downhill, choose a model explicitly intended for that discipline and check its specifications.
How do I choose the right deck length?
There is no single height-to-length rule for longboards. Compare the space you want for your stance and footwork, how easily you want to carry or manoeuvre the board, and the type of tricks you practise. Width and wheelbase matter too. Tell us your height, experience and riding style if you need help comparing models.
Which flex should I choose, and is there a rider weight limit?
Flex describes how much the deck bends under load. Your weight, riding style and preferred feel all affect the choice. Flex options and maximum rider weights vary by model, so check the exact version before ordering. For example, Otter V2 offers Medium and Soft options; do not assume they have the same rider weight limit.
Should I buy Deck only or a Complete board?
Choose Deck only if you already have suitable components or want to build your own setup. Choose a Complete option if you want the components specified for that configuration. Check the selected trucks, wheels, bearings and griptape on the product page; deck-only listings do not include a complete rolling setup.
Can I choose my own trucks, wheels and accessories?
Yes, on models with a Build custom button. Open the configurator from the board’s product page, choose the available components and review the setup summary and total before adding it to your cart. Available choices depend on the model.
Can I use trucks and wheels from my current board?
They may fit, but check the deck’s mounting pattern, truck width, wheel size, hardware length and clearance before combining parts. Parts that bolt together may still need adjustment to avoid wheelbite. If you are unsure, send us the exact deck, truck and wheel models.
What do the Riding profile percentages mean?
They are a guide to the board’s riding character across dancing, freestyle, cruising, freeride and downhill. Use them to compare intended uses. They are not test scores, speed ratings or a guarantee of your performance; read the shape, flex and setup details alongside them.
Do you ship internationally, and where can I check returns?
Yes, Switch ships internationally from Poland. Check shipping rates and delivery times for your destination, and read the warranty and returns information before ordering. If your country is unavailable at checkout, contact us to check the options.
