YOUR TRAINING QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Before your
next session.

Jibbing or trampoline? Which size? Find practical answers before you choose your training setup.

Can I practise on my own snowboard without snow?

Yes — SnowGrid is a modular surface for snowboard butters, presses, spins and flatground practice. Choose Starter (140 × 140 cm) or Full Size (200 × 200 cm), allowing enough space for your board and movements. Install it on a level, stable, fully supported surface and follow the safety instructions. It is a sliding surface, not a soft landing mat.

Can I use a jibbing board on a trampoline?

For trampoline practice, we recommend a dedicated trampoline board. A jibbing board has a base designed to slide on rails and boxes; a trampoline board has a foam base that helps reduce slipping on the trampoline mat. Check the intended use of your model and the rules of your trampoline facility.

Can I use a trampoline board for jibbing?

For regular rail or box sessions, choose a jibbing board. The foam base on a trampoline board can wear down or become damaged when it slides over obstacles. A jibbing board has a base designed for this type of training.

Which board size should I choose?

For jibbing and trampoline boards, 95 cm (37.4 in) is the more compact option for younger or smaller riders and anyone who prefers easier manoeuvrability. The 110 cm (43.3 in) version generally suits more experienced riders around 160 cm (5 ft 3 in) tall or above. Height, stance and experience all matter. Parkboards use a different size guide: we recommend 95 for riders up to 170 cm (5 ft 7 in), and 120 for taller riders. Parkboards are for advanced riders who already know how to ride a board. If you are between sizes, tell us your height and how you want to train.

Are there any rider weight limits?

Yes — check the maximum user weight in the specifications of the exact product you choose. For example, the Jibbing PRO 110 setup lists a maximum user weight of 100 kg (220 lb). Limits can differ between boards and accessories, so this is not a limit for the whole Training range. For trampoline practice, also follow the trampoline manufacturer’s weight limit.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, we ship internationally from Poland, including destinations outside Europe. Delivery options and costs depend on your location and order. Check our shipping rates and delivery times. If your destination is unavailable at checkout, contact us so we can check the options.

Can I order equipment for my school or training centre?

Yes — contact us about equipment for your school, club or training centre. Tell us what you teach, the age and height range of your riders, the equipment you need and the quantities. We can help you choose suitable setups and prepare an offer for your organisation.

Where can I try Switch training gear?

You can try Switch gear at selected training facilities, clubs, camps and retail locations. Visit Try Switch Gear to explore the map and find a location near you. Contact the venue before visiting to check which products are available to try and whether you need to book a session.
